Simplifying enrollment into your home-based business, actually getting your distributors or your affiliates to pull the pin, to bite the bullet, to finally get involved in a home-based business that will allow them to generate long-term residual income.  Now I want you to ask yourself this question.

Why is it that you believe that most people do not get involved in your home-based business opportunity?  Now I'll give you a little hint here.  Most users don't get involved, it's not because of the product.  It's usually not because of the compensation plan.  It's usually not because of the person that's presenting the opportunity.  Now do you know what this may be? I feel the number one reason why people do not get involved in home-based business or specifically your home-based business is that it comes down to belief.  We have so many people out there that actually run around trying to be experts I know this, I know that, I know this about the home-based business - Did you know that when you have a prospect that you're prospect is actually testing you and they have self doubt, and the belief that you need to overcome when prospecting is this.  Can I work this business and be as good as Steve is in promoting his home-based business?  Do I believe, if I get involved in this home-based business, I'm going to have the support that I need and that I can do what you are doing to earn residual income, either in person or out on the Internet?  Now if you can overcome that one obstacle, it's veryeasy to have people enroll into your opportunity.

I'm not sure what program it is that you're promoting out on the Internet.  Let's say for instance that, say you had a $350.00 fee for enrollment, now if your users or your distributors or your potential affiliates, if they believed that they would earn that $350.00 back, wouldn't they immediately get involved in your business opportunity?  See a lot of prospecting, I feel, comes down to belief.  If your prospect does not believe that they can do what you're doing, they're not going to get involved with you. Now the easiest way to overcome this belief is to consider yourself what I refer to as a professional inviter.  Now don't think of yourself as a salesperson.  Just invite people to different events that are put on or sponsored by either your group or by your home-based business opportunity's home office.

The easiest way to prospect is when you get people eventually through your marketing funnel, through your landing page or whatever it is that you're actually using for leads, or maybe you're doing it the old-fashioned way, but what I do is when I get my prospect on the phone for the very first I'll build some rapport with them, I'll talk to them a couple seconds about the business opportunity, but I don't want to sell them on the company and I don't necessarily want to sell them on the opportunity, and I know that they're going to be testing me, hey, can I do what Steve's doing?  Now you know as well as I do, when you get a phone call and it's a telemarketer, you always go, okay, where's the pitch?  Where's the pitch?  Here it comes.  What's he selling? So I want you to think about your business completely differently and, over the last few months, I've actually changed the way that I've been prospecting.  I now consider myself a professional inviter.

It's very important to have all the information regarding your business opportunity right at your fingertips, so what I have actually done is I have a three-ring binder full of information that includes all the conference calls my company's having, when they're having those conference calls, any information that you believe that you need to have right at your fingertips when you're talking to somebody, I call that my play book. When I get a prospect on the phone, or when I call them, I'm like, "Hey, John this is Steve.  You recently responded to my ads regarding making money at home," and sometimes they're actually more experienced at network marketing, sometimes they're just getting going, but regardless of the person's experience, they're actually going to look at you and that belief in their mind is going to be "can I do what Steve is doing?" What you want to do is consider yourself a professional inviter, and what I do is, when I get someone on the phone, I don't try to sell them anything.  I will give them a conference call number and a date to the conference call.  At that point, I will ask them when is it the best time for me to follow back up, they'll say like Monday at 8:00 or what not.  So I usually give the person a call back at the time that they stated that they would be available.  At this time, your actually testing your prospect.  For one, the prospect knows that they don't need to be a rocket scientist.  I didn't try to sell them anything.  I'm not a salesperson.  I just invited them to a company-provided conference call.

I find that there's so many people in this industry, that hand out information but they don't get any results from the information that they're handing out because they're not getting that personal commitment from that prospect. I have my conference call numbers actually taped to my monitor, so when I have someone on the phone, I know exactly when my next conference call is going to be.  I'm very fortunate because the company that I'm currently associated with, we have conference calls three times a week.  We have two business opportunity calls and we also have a training call on Saturday.  Now this gives me plenty of targets during the week to actually offer someone a time to come and actually listen to the conference call.  I also have some pre-recorded conference calls as well, but I've actually found out that live conference calls are usually a little more powerful because, When they dial in, they're going to hear other people calling in from other countries, different states, and they're going to know hey, I'm not the only person that's looking at this opportunity.

To speed up your prospecting, actually dumb it down a little bit. Don't be a salesperson.  Be a professional inviter.  Invite people to company conference calls.  If you have a magazine you're using or some literature you're passing out,  Tell them "Hey John, I have three other people that I need to pass this magazine on to, so when you're done looking at this magazine, I'll give you a call and arrange a time to come and pick up the magazine."  Now the psychological reason for this is that you know as well as I do, that some people will read the magazine, some people won't, but if you're giving them or loaning them a sales aid and you tell them, "Hey, I need this back", this actually allows you to test them to see hey, are they serious.  Have they read through the magazine?  By using these different tools, by using a magazine, using company-provided literature, and considering yourself as a professional inviter, this will allow you to sift through all the sand that's out there and only work with those individuals that are really willing to work a home-based business.
